Activities
Here at Thirtover Place we love our activities and take pride in the enjoyment our groups have when using them.
Outdoor education and confidence building is an important for all young people so we take pride in the activities we provide.
Tented Village
Our tented Village offers six 5m Bell Tents along with a Mess Tent, QM Tent , First aid tent and sheltered cooking area.
We provided gas for cooking, as well as all the cooking implements you may need during your stay. The QM tent has shelving to allow for storage of your food and other items you may bring with you.
The Campsites
Thirtover Place offers three campsites to accommodate between 36 and 60 campers per site. All sites have the use of a shared solid shelter wet shelter in the stables. Showers and toilets in a permanent building are available to campers from all three camp sites.
The House
A large galleried entrance hall leads to a carpeted lounge with easy chairs and notice-boards. A TV and DVD player is provided plus a small library of books, many with a Guiding theme and a great collection of games. From the lounge the patio doors lead to the lawn.
